WHY WE DO IT
EVERY PROJECT IS APPROACHED WITH THE INTENTION OF CREATING AN ENVIRONMENTALLY SUSTAINABLE LANDSCAPE
At Ian Evans Creative Landscapes every project is approached with the intention of creating an environmentally sustainable landscape.
We have a policy of recycling / reusing at all times. During demolition and excavation all materials are sorted. Bricks, concrete and stone are reused if suitable or sent to the recyclers to be crushed. Timber and logs are reused or shredded for mulch and steel and other materials are recycled. Clean fill is stockpiled for use on yours or other projects, and topsoil is graded and sieved for reuse.
During construction of your dream landscape we also utilize recycled materials. Such as crushed concrete base material, recycled timbers and logs for features and structures and recycled bricks and crushed gravel mixes for paving.
We also can construct your landscape to incorporate the saving, redirecting and reusing of all rainwater and drainage water on your property.
WHAT WE DO

We specialise in all aspects of landscaping including:
- Paving – natural stone paving in formal, random and ashlar style, clay pavers and recycled red brick paving, cobbles and bluestone pavers, timber and exposed surface concrete paving
- Retaining walls using selected rock or stone, brick walls, red gum sleepers or in-situ concrete walls
- Bespoke water features – formal style and natural ponds, swimming pool surrounds and pool renovations

HOW WE DO IT
FROM YOUR INITIAL IDEA THROUGH TO CONSTRUCTION, WE MANAGE EVERY STEP ALONG THE WAY
Initial Consultation
During our first meeting, we work our way through your existing garden to understand its space, features and functionality, and discuss your wishes and future plans with what you hope to achieve through the project. We look at different design options that build on your ideas and establish a style to suit your space. From here, we develop a total design proposal or just a simple quote for your consideration.
Concept Plan
The next stage provides you with a visual image of your new garden. We prepare images and drawings of the key design elements, samples of materials and recommended plant species. At this point, we establish a budget for construction.
Construction Documentation
Following approval of the concept plan and budget, we develop detailed plans for the structural elements such as planting, lighting and drainage. We also manage council applications and address local government laws and regulations. Once completed, we present a final construction quote and contract for your approval.
Construction
Once a commencement date is scheduled, the site is prepared and work begins.
In addition to our team, we can engage qualified and experienced contractors who work with us to bring your design to life. Competency in all forms of landscape construction, familiarity with a wide variety of construction materials, and a complete understanding of the horticultural requirements of a garden ensure successful installation of the project. Construction
We arrange a final assessment to review the project as a whole and reach agreement on completion. Handover of the site takes place and the new outdoor area is yours to enjoy!
